This performance duet, presented with video projection and a sound score, examines the historical story of June and Jennifer Gibbons; the Gibbons sisters were West Indian twins who grew up in the United Kingdom in the 1960s and ‘70s and developed their own secret language largely as a result of their segregation. It is the first section of a play in development by Hilton Als titled The Lives of Performers.
