Presented as part of the exhibition Edges of Ailey at the Whitney Museum of American Art, let slip, hold sway continues ongoing research into the entanglement between ancestors and the role of ritual using the aesthetics of experimentation and unexpected collaborations as an homage to Alvin Ailey.
